The mission of Your FMWR is to deliver quality choices in a welcoming environment that supports the well being of Service Members, Families, Retirees and Civilians.

 

Responsibilities                                                                                              

Family & MWR supports Soldiers, Military Families, Retirees and DoD Civilians of our community and provides a source of balance and offer support, resiliency, and relaxation fostering an environment where Soldiers and families can thrive. Family and MWR programs are proof of the Army's commitment to support and care for all who defend the nation and their Family members.

 

 Objectives:

  • Support transformation.
  • Support combat readiness and effectiveness.
  • Support Army Family Covenant goals.
  • Support recruitment and retention of quality personnel.
  • Provide flexible and diverse programming to support ARFORGEN and enhances quality of the life.
  • Provide a quality of living comparable to that which our Soldiers and civilians are pledged to defend.
  • Promote and maintain the mental and physical fitness and well-being of personnel.
  • Ease the transition of individuals into military life and the relocation of personnel and accompanying family members.
  • Provide facilities and programs that meet the needs of today's Soldier, family, and community.

Enhance readiness and well-being by reducing conflict between mission requirements and parental responsibilities.

 

Functions:

  • Child Development Services (Child Development Center, Hourly Care and Family Child Care Programs)
  • School Age Services (Before School, After School, Full Day Care and Summer Camps)
  • Youth Services (Middle School and Teen Program, Youth Sports, Youth Development, Summer Camps,  and Partnerships)
  • Education and Outreach Services (Parent Central Services, School Liaison Services, SKIES Unlimited, Outreach Services, Youth Education, HIRED! And EDGE!)

  • Continue to work with local Schools Develop and coordinate Partnerships in Education (PIE) initiatives
