  PINEY VALLEY ANNUAL GOLF COURSE DRIVE

Piney Valley Golf Course is hosting their Annual Golf Course Drive. Interested patrons can come out and sign up and pay for an annual green fees in advance and receive a free driving range pass ($50 value) as well as all 8 reciprocal course cards and be entered into a drawing for a FREE annual green fee.   COMMANDER'S CUP COMBATIVES

Fort Leonard Wood Sports Department is offering a Commander’s Cup Combatives Tournament, Single Elimination at Davidson Fitness Center. The Combatives Tournament is open to Active Duty Military ALL branches of Service, Unit affiliation is necessary. Combatives is a functional, mixed martial art form combining Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing, clinch hitting, takedowns and ground-fighting techniques. The fighters will compete in several weight classes. The tournament will be ruled and upheld by the United States Army Combatives Competition Rules & Regulations.within a graduated set of rules, game time is forfeit time. Winners will represent Fort Leonard Wood at the Fort Campbell Invitational. Combatives certification is not a requirement to compete.   COMBATIVE TOURNAMENT
The MSCoE and Fort Leonard Wood (FLW) host a Post-level Combatives Tournament in order to (IOT) foster unit level esprit de corps and the warrior ethos. 04-06MAR15 at the Davidson Fitness Center (DFC).

Family & MWR will be hosting Bunco beginning 7:00 pm at the Pershing Community Center. Join in on this fun dice game and win great prizes. Prizes will be awarded for the most wins and most losses. Random drawings will also be held between rounds for prizes. There are no cash substitutions for prizes awarded. Event is FREE and open to the public. Must be 18 yrs. and older to play.

  PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS - PEOPLE PHOTOGRAPHY
The Arts and Crafts Frame Shop is hosting Photography Classes taught by photographer Mike Curtis who will show you the techniques to capture the perfect picture. This class includes outdoor instruction and will be held rain or shine (dress appropriately). Participants receive a 10% discount on framing on a selected photo from class. Seating is limited. For cost and details stop by the Arts & Craft Frame Shop located in the PX Mini Mall or call 573-596-0242.

  CONCEALED CARRY WEAPONS CLASS
The Outdoor Adventure Center (OAC) is hosting Concealed Carry Weapons Class; the first step in acquiring a Missouri CCW endorsement including weapons qualification on the range. Class is 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Cost is $15 to register, $65 day of class. Each student must bring a photo ID, Eye & Hearing Protection, and either a Semi-automatic handgun or revolver (Plus 40 rounds of ammo), lunch money or food. Handgun must be in good working condition. Class is open to the public 21 yrs. and older. Interested patrons must be registered the day prior to each class at the Outdoor Adventure Center located in Bldg. 2290 FLW K Road. For more information call 573-596-4223.  Individuals bringing a privately owned weapon onto the installation for authorized activities such as hunting, dog training activities or marksmanship events, are required to register weapons. Privately owned weapons can be registered between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Main Gate Visitor Control Center, Building 100. Registration form is available online at www.wood.army.mil/LEC/SOB/Privately%20Owned%20Weapons.html Registrations may take up to one week to process.  Additionally, anyone wishing to bring a firearm onto FLW is required to declare the firearm with proof of registration.  Firearms and ammunition must be stored separately, i.e. firearm in the trunk and ammunition in the passenger compartment.   For more information, call the Physical Security Section of the Provost Marshal’s Office at 573.596.0131 ext. 6-0597 Concealed Carry Permits (CCP), regardless of state of issuance, are not authorized or recognized on Fort Leonard Wood.  See FLW Regulation 190-6 for transportation requirements and authorized purposes.Additional dates: April 12, 2015 / May 16, 2015  June 7, 2015 / July 25, 2015 / August 16, 2015 / September 12, 2015
