| SAS is a nationally accredited program that fosters social interaction, personal growth, recreational skills, and educational opportunities for children from kindergarten through fifth grade while they are not in school. The framework for this program focuses on four service areas: Life skills (citizenship and leadership opportunities), Arts (Recreation and Leisure), Mentoring (intervention and education support services), and Activities (sports, fitness, and health). The children are supervised, they are safe, and they have fun! ..... More...... | |

YS provides a wide variety of programs. The programs vary slightly each year, but most offer all basic sports, camps, special events, and field/study trips. Depending upon the program, they are available to youth in 6th-12th grade. There are also a variety of recreation programs for middle and high school youth, many at no cost. Please see the Program Activities section for more information. All teens participating in YS programs must be registered through the Parent Central Services.
