Fit EDGE! Educates and encourages children and youth to incorporate a healthier lifestyle through physical activity and nutritional awareness programs. Programming options may include adventure sports, aerobics, body sculpting, bowling, customized fitness programs, golf, nutrition programs, strength training, stress management, team and pick-up sports, weight management, weight training, yoga, etc. |

Life EDGE! Imparts upon children and youth the skills needed for life-long growth as well as the exploration of future career fields. Program options may be age-specific basic cooking, baking and culinary art activities, auto maintenance and repair skills, book clubs, computer skills, consumer skills, dog obedience, health and food safety, ecology and living green, marketing and advertising, money management, pet care, research skills, study skills, time-management, etc. |

Art EDGE! Promotes learning-by-doing and focuses on the development of lifetime skills while exposing participants to the arts. Art Edge! activities increase creative development while building self-esteem. Programming options may include ceramics, computer graphic design, digital film making, digital music making, digital photography, drawing, fashion design, Hip Hop, painting, scrapbooking, theater arts, woodworking, etc. |

Adventure EDGE! Encourages children and youth to embrace the outdoors and nature while being exposed to activities that stimulate relaxation. Programming options may include bowling, ecology, fishing, geocaching, golf, hiking, kayaking, orienteering, rock or wall climbing, skiing, swimming, etc. |

School Age EDGE! packages: CYS Services offer monthly Edge! programs. Children enrolled in the School Age Services (SAS) after school program can participate in the Edge! program. Fees charged for "The Edge!" are in addition to and not lieu of School Age Services care fees. Transportation is provided for most programs offered. WORKING, but want your child to participate in an Edge! program? If your child attends a school on Fort Leonard Wood, hourly care may be available before and/or after an Edge! activity. Call the School Age Services staff at 573-596-0239 to make your reservation and send the Edge! permission form to your child's teacher. Changes to transportation requests must be made to the school either face-to-face or via note. Middle School and High School EDGE! packages: CYS Services offer monthly programs. The Edge! program is FREE and open to registered youth in grades 6-12. Programs held outside Pippin Youth Center will be transported to program site. Volunteer Opportunities: The Edge! program is looking for enthusiastic, motivated volunteers to share their skills in sports, fitness, the arts and adventure type activities.
