This 18 hole, par 72 course runs through a beautiful valley along the Big Piney River, and is open year round, weather permitting. The course is open to the public and features a driving range, putting green, chipping area, pro shop, snack bar and lessons.

GREENS FEES: (Annual or by a Per Play Basis)

Annual Greens Fees: Annual Greens Fees allows you to play all year without additional greens fees or maintenance charges. Rates are divided into categories based on rank/grade, and can be paid for all at once or on an installment plan. The Advanced Annual Greens Fees year is April - March, but you can join at any time (your fee will be pro-rated). If you choose to use your own personal golf cart, trail fees will apply.

Greens Fees: If you choose not to pay annually, you can pay greens fees on a per play basis. These rates are also structured according to rank. Other factors that determine rates are weekends versus weekdays and 9 holes versus all day.

Motor carts, pull carts and golf clubs can be rented at the pro shop counter. Click Here to view rental fees.

Retail Items: The pro shop sells a wide variety of top brand equipment, clothing and supplies at very reasonable prices. Some of the items that you will find at the pro shop include golf clubs (in stock and special order), golf bags, shirts, hats, balls, gloves, tees and spikes. Looking for a good deal? The pro shop offers sales at different times throughout the year. 

Repair Service: Our new repair service offers re-gripping, shaft replacement and fitting. We will special order grips and shafts to your specifications. If you are not sure what kind of shafts or grips you should use, we can make recommendations based on your experience, style of play and other factors.

Driving Range: You can practice your lessons, perfect your swing and warm up at our driving range. An artificial turf surface is used to keep the driving area even and free of divots. Range ball machine tokens can be purchased one at a time; or you can purchase a discount multi-bucket punch card. Each time you present the card the attendant will punch your card and give you a token.

Putting & Chipping Area: A putting practice green and a chipping area, complete with sand bunker, are available at no charge.

Lessons: Whether you are a beginner or an experienced golfer, lessons can help shave strokes off your game. Lessons are available for individuals and groups. 9 hole lessons and package deals are also available.

Leagues & Tours:

Tournaments: Piney Valley hosts a variety of tournaments throughout the year. The Cabin Fever Tournament series will help you keep your edge throughout the Winter season. There is even a tournament series specifically designed for senior golfers. Many units and organizations also conduct tournaments. If you are interested in organizing a tournament for your organization, unit or other group, give us a call and we’ll help you set it up.

 
Commanders Scramble
The Commanders Payday Scramble will be held at the Piney Valley Golf Course April through October.
Golfers may participate in any or all tournaments.  Cost $35/person $140/ four person team
and includes greens fees, cart, meal and beverage.  Tournaments will have a 12 noon shotgun start.

Senior Challenge
The Annual Senior Challenge Tour will be hosted by the Piney Valley Golf Course beginning in April with a 9am shotgun start.  This is a 7-month event where points are accumulated throughout tour.  Senior golfers are welcome to participate.  Cost is $20 per person, includes breakfast.  Cart rental $10 and daily greens fees will apply

Cabin Fever Winter Tour
Feeling restless and need to get out on the greens?  The Piney Valley Golf Course hosts the Annual Cabin Fever Winter Tour beginning in November.  Tour is a 7-month program that rewards participants with points depending on placement in each event.  Cost is $20 per person, per event, includes includes greens fees, cart and breakfast
Event has a 10am shotgun start.  Annual greens fees holders may use their annual punch card and receive a $10 instant rebate towards playing. Call 329-4770 for more information.  Click for dates

 

Women's Golf Association
The Piney Valley Golf Course will host a Women's Golf Association,  Tuesdays, starting April thru August
Ladies can play  5:00pm.  Cost based on pay grade.  Call 329-4770 for more information.
Junior Golf Program: Piney Valley caters to youth golfers with programs designed especially for them. Junior League is open to golfers 8 to 18 years. Junior Golf runes between June and July and is a cost of $50 per player.

Sandwedge Eatery: Located in the Club House of the Piney Valley Golf Course, the Sandwedge Eatery offers a variety of sandwiches, hamburgers, chicken and other lunch items including a Taco Salad Buffet on Wednesday. On warm days you can eat on the patio while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Mark Twain National Forest. The Sandwedge Eatery can be available to host you office or personal function.
