AREA OF

EVALUATION METHOD:
Eligible candidates in the highest preference group will be evaluated on the
basis of the above job related criteria in terms of the degree to which they
possess:
(1) related
experience and (2) related education, training, self-development and personal
characteristics required to perform the job.
Also evaluation
will be based on review of the official personnel folders, appraisals of past
performance and/or information furnished in applications. The
highest-ranking candidates among the highly qualified group will be referred to
the selecting supervisor for consideration. If no candidates are rated as
highly qualified, then basically qualified candidates may be referred.

HOW TO APPLY:
Current Nonappropriated Fund employees should complete Fort Leonard Wood form
1257 and submit it to the Civilian Personnel Office, NAF Division.
Applicants that are not current Fort Leonard Wood employees should complete DA
Form 3433, application for Nonappropriated Fund employment. DA Form 3433
can be obtained from the Job Information Center, Bldg 470, Room 2204. It
is the responsibility of each applicant to assure that his/her application

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Three (3) months of laboring
experience. Must have ability to use, control and clean tools and power
equipment used. Ability to perform the following skills:
1.
Experience in the operation of small riding lawnmowers.
2.Experience in the use of hand tools, powered tools, and heavy industrial
equipment. (Give examples or list of equipment used).
3.Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal
supervision.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Three (3) months of experience required. Applicant must have
the ability to use, oil, change buffer, brushes, rollers, and other
attachments on heavy industrial powered equipment and clean this equipment.
Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with
several distinct tasks or steps without constant supervision of each task
assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: One (1) year in food preparation
principles and understanding of the physical processes that occur in cooking.
Ability to perform the following skills:
1.Knowledge of
proper cooking temperatures and preparation methods for a variety of foods.
2.Ability to
coordinate food preparation to assure readiness for service at appropriate
mealtimes.
3.Knowledge of
food borne illnesses, food safety, proper storage methods to prevent
loss/spoilage.
4.Ability to
follow written and verbal instructions, i.e., recipes, and cooking instructions.
5.Skill in
operating and cleaning food service equipment.
6.Skill in
carving, garnishing, food presentation, and assembling attractive platters or
salads.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have a minimum of six (6) months experience
mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale. Satisfactory completion of a
certified bartender training school may be substituted for three (3) months of
required experience. Must be 21 years of age. Ability to perform the following
skills:
Ability to deal
with the public effectively.
Ability to
operate a cash register.
Ability to work
under pressure.
Ability to
conduct cash transaction on a daily basis.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: No prior training or experience required. Minimum of two
years of high school education desirable. Applicant must have ability to
understand and follow oral instructions and do simple tasks that are easy to
learn.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Three (3) months experience is required. Applicant must be
able to follow simple oral instructions, be able to use hand tools for
cleaning, and use hand tools and kitchen utensils for cleaning and operating
simple machines. Must be 21 years of age to work at the Bowling.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Duties will be identical to NA-3 waiter position, with the
exception of the employee being in a 90-day developmental phase. After
completion of a successful 90-day period, the employee will be
non-competitively promoted to NA-3 waiter.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Six months of waiter/waitress experience which provided
knowledge of proper food serving techniques. Must be 21 years of age.
Demonstration of the following work behaviors is desirable:
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Six (6) months of managerial experience working in a club,
restaurant, or similar business is desirable. Progressively responsible
duties in the receipt, disbursement examination, deposit, custody or other
processing of cash items. Candidates for this position must be 21 years of
age at time of appointment. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 60
pounds.
QUALIFICATION
REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the
state in which employed for the type of vehicle(s) to be driven. Must have two
years of acceptable work experience as a driver, one year of which was devoted
to driving the type, and capacity, of vehicle to which assigned.
Must possess
required operators license, Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with “P”
endorsement. Must have experience in driving coach with air brakes.
Experience and
skill in handling the controls for starting, stopping, backing, and driving
the vehicle.
Experience and
skill in judging overhead and side clearances, turning radius and brake
distance, and required in descending steep grades in order to maintain control
over a variety of roads and highways.
Experience and
skill in reading road maps and following directions.
Experience and
skill in performing driver’s maintenance and maintaining cleanliness of the
vehicle.
