The Club House and Sandwedge Eatery will close through the winter season (historically late December to early March) with the golf course open for play on the honor system. A drop box is located near the first tee and the cost is $5 per 9 holes and $10 per 18 holes. No carts are allowed on the course during the winter months.


This 18 hole, par 72 course runs through a beautiful valley along the Big Piney River, and is open President's Day thru November 30, weather permitting. The course is open to the public and features a driving range, putting green, chipping area, pro shop, snack bar and lessons. 


PV Golf Club House

Conveniently located at Fort Leonard Wood, 5 minutes from the front gate, and nestled between the hills and along the Big Piney River, the Club House provides the ideal setting for military units, battalions and brigades social functions; and private business’ off site events.

The clubhouse’s floor to ceiling windows offer pristine views overlooking the golf course and surrounding area.

A professional staff and catering service can accommodate all of your needs and customize any package you select.

Whether you visit for golf or to plan your next social function, the Club House is sure to create fond memories and a memorable experience.

We invite all our golfers to check out the Pro Shop prior to playing. Military and others must present a valid ID card to receive the appropriate green fee rates.


  • Victors Room: An ideal setting for groups with a plasma television, overhead projector, and seating for up to 35 guests.
  • Watch Tower: Connected to the main Victors Room, the room is encased with glass windows and overlooks the course, with seating for up to 20 guests.
  • Locker Room: Men and women dressing areas with individual shower areas and lockers.
  • Pro Shop: A variety of merchandise and special ordering possibilities for all of your personal and group needs.
  • Sandwedge Eatery: A full service bar and grill with food catered by our in-house personnel.
  • In-House Catering Service: Provided by the Pershing Community Center, perfect for all your special events, wedding and private social functions.
  • Tournament Pavilion: Our covered tournament pavilion provides an outdoor setting for private events or weddings receptions.
  • Pavilion: An indoor second pavilion, the setting provides an ideal area for a business meeting or small groups with seating for up to 50 guests.
Come enjoy lunch overlooking the manicured greens and surrounding grounds at the Piney Valley Golf Course. The Sandwedge Eatery is conveniently located inside the Club House and provides a variety of freshly prepared foods, beverages and daily specials. Seating is available inside or on the verandah overlooking the course.

A full range of first class practice facilities for you to hone your skills are waiting for you at Piney Valley Golf Course.

If working on your game is your idea of fun, then Piney Valley Golf Course has the type of facilities where you can practice from dawn to dusk. Our practice facilities start with a driving range with numerous targets and bunkers to create the feeling of actually playing a course.

A chipping area for those all-important shot-saving strokes around the green is adjacent to the Club House and first tee box for easy access all day.

A putting green for those who are working to reduce their score and to work out the kinks in your game.


We already believe that golf has too many rules. The number one rule at the Piney Valley Golf Course is that we want all of our guests to be having FUN! Golf is a game that relies on the honesty and integrity of the individual players to uphold etiquette and fairness of play. We are going to ask you “how is it going today?” Please tell us what we can do to help because we want you to have a great day, each and every day.


Tee times may be reserved by visiting or calling the Pro Shop at 573-329-4770. Active duty military can reserve a tee time up to five days in advance; retired military/DoD employees up to four days in advance, and all other customers may reserve three days in advance.



Shotgun Events

9 Hole Shotgun Events – Starting times Monday – Friday 0800 or 1200. All event packages include green fees, shared cart, scorecards, and proximity markers. Cost per player is $20 ($10 for advance green fee personnel). Private car usage during tournaments will not receive advance green fee discount. Meals are separate and not included.

18 Hole Shotgun Events – Starting times Monday – Friday 0800 or 1200. All event packages include green fees, shared cart, scorecards, and proximity markers. Cost per player is $40 ($30 for advance green fee personnel). Private car usage during tournaments will not receive advance green fee discount. Meals are separate and not included.

Playing Formats

We suggest groups play a scramble format. Pricing is based on groups of four players with 2 golfers sharing a cart. We have carts available on site.

We do not allow groups to play “8 some format” and “5 or 6 some” unless at the discretion of the Director of Golf.

Tournament and event pairings (player’s names in groups of four) are necessary to properly prepare cart tags, scorecards, etc. A draft of the pairings list is requested at least three days before the event.  
Confirmation & Booking   
The number of players listed on the contract is the number of players that has been approved for the event. We consider a date booked when we have a signed contract and a deposit for the event.   
Shotguns and Modified Shotguns – In an effort to improve our service we are asking for your help. A non-refundable deposit of $200 will be required at booking.
Rain Outs

In the event the Superintendent for Piney Valley Golf Couse closes the golf course for any reason, the following procedures is agreed to:

  • 0 holes completed – Reschedule
  • 1-8 holes completed – 18 hole Rain Check to all players
  • 9 – 13 holes completed – 9 hole Rain Check to all players
  • More than 13 holes completed – Tournament Complete

In the event of a rainout where a Food & Beverage function and space are booked, all scheduled Food & Beverage and non-golf events will be prepared for, staged, and charged per the contract.

Our Superintendent will try and make a decision regarding golf course playability at least 2 hours before your event.

Commanders Scramble

The Commanders Golf Scramble will be held at the Piney Valley Golf Course April through November. Golfers may participate in any or all tournaments.  Cost $40 per person / $30 per PVGC Advance Green Fee Patrons and includes greens fee, cart, meal and beverage. Tournaments will have a 12 noon shotgun start. Registration is requested 3 days prior to tournament date.

Piney Valley Golf Course sponsors a variety of leagues open to all players. Leagues typically will play a 2, 3 or 4 player scramble format depending on the amount or participants.

Ladies Fun League – is open to all female patrons and begins 5 May and held every Tuesday thru October (weather dependent). Tee time is 1700 and the ladies have priority during this period. Play is limited to 9 holes. The Ladies Golf Group is responsible for the administration and operation of the League.

$30 registration fee for all participnts. Weekly $6 Green Fees plus a $5 Prize Fun ($6 Cart Fee Optional). Open to the public.






Junior Golf Program: Piney Valley caters to youth golfers with programs designed especially for them. Junior League is open to golfers 8 to 18 years old. Junior Golf runs between June and July and is a cost of $60 per player.

Cost includes green fees, practice balls, equipment, instructions and lunch. If you have a child interested in participating in the Junior Golf Program, call 573-329-4770 or for more information. 

Twilight League – Consists of two 10-week leagues held 6 May thru 8 Jul and 15 Jul thru 16 Sep.

Tee Time is 5pm and play is limited to 9 holes. Registration fee per 10 weeks is $25/3-person team or $30/4-person team. $6 weekly green fees ($6 cart fee optional). Open to the public 16yrs and older.





Senior League - begins April 7 and held twice a month thru the season. Tee time is 0900, 2-Person Scramble.

$30 per Annual Greens Fee (AGFP) patrons, $40 for Non-AGFP. Cost includes green fees, cart, free range practice and breakfast. Open to the public 50yrs and older.

Intramural League – begins 1 June and held every Monday thru 13 July and open to military units.

The Community Recreation Division’s Sports Branch is responsible for the administration and operation of the League.


Advance Greens Fees: Advance Greens Fees allows you to play all year without additional greens fees or maintenance charges. Rates are divided into categories based on rank/grade, and can be paid for all at once or on an installment plan. The Advance Greens Fees year is April - March, but you can join at any time (your fee will be pro-rated). If you choose to use your own personal golf cart, trail fees will apply.

Daily Green Fees: If you choose not to play annually, you can pay green fees on a per play basis. These rates are also structured according to rank. Other factors that determine rates are weekends versus weekdays and 9 holes versus 18.

Motor carts, pull carts and golf clubs, can be rented at the pro shop counter.
