Fort Leonard Wood and Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation are making it easy to dive into summer by offering FREE swimming this season at the MWR Outdoor Pools. The free swim program is in keeping with the Army Family Covenant’s promise of taking care of Soldiers and Families by continuing to build strong partnerships with Army families that will enhances their strength and resilience, and provide our Families a strong, supportive environment where they can thrive. By offering free swimming at the outdoor pools FMWR hopes to enhance the recreation experience for our Soldiers and Families and increase quality of time families spend together.  Family bonds are improved by the sharing of leisure time; and the strength of the Army lies in the strength of its Families. The FMWR Outdoor pools open full season Memorial Day Weekend and are open to the public.

		For the safety of our patrons, please park in designated parking areas only.   Overflow parking is available across the street (Constitution Ave) adjacent to the PX.   In case of an EMERGENCY, First Responders (Fire, Ambulance & MP's) MUST have clear access to the Recreation Complex / Wallace pool facilities.   Parking in designated areas will assure our First Responders can take action quickly & safely.
