Shades of Green is renovating but we are not closed! Shades of Green® resort located on Walt Disney World Resort continues to serve authorized guests during the expansion construction project period (through the fall of 2003).
All
guests holding reservations for Shades of Green® are now accommodated at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort. We
have worked out an arrangement whereby the Northern Garden wing of Disney’s
Contemporary Resort has been set aside for the exclusive use of our guests at
the same room rates offered by our resort, plus an unavoidable 11% Resort Tax.
We also elected to continue our discounted ticket sales to all Disney and local attractions! Our Ticket Office “Made in the Shade” has relocated to the third floor, in the North Garden Wing of Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Room 7346. Ticket Office Hours are 0700-2100 hours daily. Group
reservations for your meetings, conferences, and reunions can still be made by
contacting the Shades of Green® Sales and Marketing Department at 407-824-2115
or 2027. No group is too large or
small for the reliable group services offered by Shades of Green®.
We can meet group requirements ranging from accommodations, meeting
breakout rooms, meal packages, audio-visual needs to transportation.
The
Shades of Green® expansion will double the number of guestrooms to 587 and
include a multi-level/covered parking structure, spacious lobby, banquet
facilities, specialty (Tuscany-Style) Italian restaurant, and a new family-style
restaurant. The project completion
date is slated for the fall of 2003. We will begin accepting reservations for the new Shades of
Green® in late September 2002.
