| SKIESUnlimited Gymnastic classes give children a safe and positive learning environment while experiencing the joy of physical movement. Children have an opportunity to socialize, play and explore while developing balance, coordination and self esteem. Our goal is to ensure every child reaches their full potential. That's why our programs emphasize fun, discipline, use of the imagination, cooperation, team work, and the achievement of individual goals.
We provide a safe and enjoyable experience for participants. Sessions are matched to be suitable and challenging. Emphasis is placed on strength and flexibility training that will enable your child to progress more rapidly while reducing injury.
We maintain a low student/teacher ratio to ensure every child receives the attention they need.
We have an outstanding staff of dedicated professionals who have seen the benefit of gymnastics training first-hand in their lives. Each instructor was chosen for their teaching ability as well as their knowledge of gymnastics and love for children. Through their classes, they promote respect for others, cooperation and fun.
All of our staff are Gymnastics Safety Certified by USA Gymnastics and have their CPR and First Aid Certification.

| Preschool Classes |
|
Preschool classes are structured with specific goals, and are planned to accommodate the various developmental levels of each group. Classes incorporate developmental gymnastics, creative dance, yoga style stretching, and sports skills. Classes begin with a warm-up, work on the apparatus and conclude with a group activity. Preschool classes are grouped by age. Providing multiple successes in a non-competitive, fun, and loving environment is key in children developing a "love to learn attitude."
Teddy Bear (18 months - 2 years) - A playful class with emphasis on exploration and socialization. Class centers on age appropriate activities. Parent participation is required.
Tumble Bear (3- 4 years) - This class has a strong emphasis on social skills and group involvement. Classes are centered on age appropriate activities and begin the introduction to formal gymnastics apparatus and body shapes. Parent participation is optional.
Star Bear (4- 5 years) - Imagination comes to life with mountains to climb and rivers to swim, classes become more physically challenging and continues the introduction to formal gymnastics apparatus and body shapes.
Kinder Bear (5- 6 years) - This age group is really beginning to" learn to move and move to learn." Their physical challenges are becoming more rewarding as their unsuccessful attempts are seen for what they are - a normal part of learning gymnastics. Skill acquisition becomes more challenging as more focus is placed on tumbling and conditioning. This class marks the transition from preschool class to youth gymnastics. |
| Youth Gymnastics Program |
| Gymnastics is one of the greatest sports available to children and one of the few that addresses both the components and skills of fitness. Most of our children enter the program with specific "tumbling goals" in mind such as learning cartwheels or round-off back handsprings, but when there are underlying fitness issues, particularly strength and flexibility ( two of the fitness components) that need to be addressed for gymnastic skill attainment, then "fitness" becomes a primary goal of any sports program. In short, for gymnastic skill attainment, these fitness components must also be attained and continue to progress to meet the increasing needs of the sport of gymnastics. As part of the "fitness" attainment, a standardized warm-up for the youth gymnastics will be incorporated as well as sports specific conditioning and flexibility stretching. Class size will be limited for lots of turns and attention. Special props, music and small equipment will also be incorporated to enhance learning and fun.
Beginners Class (6 year - 16 year) - This class introduces basic tumbling and dance skills, body shapes, conditioning and formal gymnastic apparatus. No prior tumbling/gymnastic experience.
Level 1 & 2 (7 - 16) - executes forward roll to stand, cartwheels R/L, bridge, headstand, and candlestick to stand; bridge kick-over, handstand hold 1 sec., split jump, and backward roll to pike stand.
Advanced (7 year - 16) 1.5 hour class - handstand forward roll, round-off, backward roll to pike stand w/ straight arms, handstand hold 1 sec into forward roll stand, back bend pull-up and back handspring; handstand forward roll w/ straight arms, round-off back hand spring, back extension roll, and front limber.
Skill progressions are based on USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic Levels 1-4 and are subject to change per USAG. |
