Beginning Gymnastics Ages 4 to 5 (Children with no pre gymnastics training) Familiarizing children with basic gym apparatuses, teaching balance, hand eye coordination and flexibility, learning core training basics of gymnastics forms, to include introduction of basic floor tumbling, balance beam basics, uneven bar familiarization, and using the springboard all while having fun and building self confidence. Beginning Gymnastics: for Ages 6 and up Familiarizing children with basic gym apparatuses, teaching balance, hand eye coordination and flexibility, learning core training basics of gymnastics forms, to include introduction of basic floor tumbling, balance beam basics, uneven bar familiarization, and using the springboard. Intermediate Class Ages 6 and up For those children who are familiar with gymnastics and basic tumbling, can execute a forward rolls/backward rolls and beginning cartwheels by themselves. Introduction to beginning basic skills on gym apparatus bars, beam, springboard (vault), while teaching strength development and flexibility. For children who can execute cartwheels, round offs and backbends on their own, we are still introducing new skills on all gym apparatuses while working on strength development and flexibility. For children who can execute skills listed in level 1 and can do a backbend with kicking over and a handstand against the wall on their own. We are still introducing new skills on all gym apparatuses while working on strength development and flexibility.
